Spring rush is here!
During the first week of school, we will have a information table made available from 9am to 1pm outside the student union.  Here, the sisters will be available to answer any questions regarding our organization. We encourage all ladies on campus to stop by and receive information about rushing our sorority for the upcoming spring semester. We are a multi-cultural sorority and welcome any ladies who are interested in joining a class act organization.  We welcome any new editions to our sisterhood because it brings us   strength, love, and prosperity.

We are growing and we invite you to come and see what we are all about!. For more information on Rush dates and times, please see our spring 99' calendar of events or if your are interested in joining Sigma Alpha Zeta, and learning more about us, contact Lorena Chavez at (408)302-1925 or

Sigma Alpha Zeta was founded at Fresno State University with the purpose of providing community service, pursuing higher education and building a united sisterhood. We pass these ethics and principals to each chapter that is founded at a
new university. Each established chapter contributes greatly to the development of our love for one another, and together we form a strong sisterhood. We actively recruit strong minded and determined women.   Our organization is definitely looking for women who wish to enhance their personal growth, leadership and teamworking skills. We are open to all ethnic cultures and backgrounds.  With a united sisterhood, we are able to work towards common ideas and goals which provide a fundamental structure for our sorority.

If you are interested in bringing Sigma Alpha Zeta to your campus, please contact us. The Beta Chapter-SJSU contact is Stefanie Mejia, she can be reached at (408)979-9564 or email:spice 4@pacbell.net. The Alpha Chapter-CSUFcontact is Erika Garza, she can be reached at eg057@csufresno.edu. We are eager to continue expansion to new campuses and we look forward in hearing from you!
