The mission of the GBSA is to promote student development and welfare, and to enhance the identity and perception of the SJSU Lucas Graduate School of Business graduate programs, with emphasis on developing external relationships with alumni, faculty, and the business community.
The Donald and Sally Lucas Graduate School of Business Graduate Business Students Association will represent the interests, needs, and concerns of conventional, off-campus, and executive style MBA programs along with MS in Taxation, MBA/MS in Engineering Dual Degree, MS in Accountancy, and MS in Transportation Management programs at San Jose State. To undergo this function, the GBSA works first to develop a community involving all of the Lucas School students, then provide several programs to help students grow as individuals, students, professionals, and leaders. These diverse programs will give the students opportunities to network and apply their superior business knowledge, and ultimately increase the value of a graduate degree from San Jose State University.
